Mutatie+ Renovation Project

The consortium aims to renovate existing (social) "mutatiewoningen" – homes that are typically updated between tenants – into Nearly Zero-Energy (BEN) homes (E30-level) that are also adaptable for lifelong living. A key focus is on improving the building envelope, combined with modifications that allow for aging in place. The modular and simultaneous energy and comfort upgrades lead to a cost reduction of at least 30%. The interchangeable prefabricated modules ensure a short execution time, reduced failure costs, and adaptability over the lifespan of the home.
